DOME OF VISIONS
Co-created with members of Fiction Pimps
Dome of Visions is a temporary space-in-between. It positions itself as a suggestion on how to create vibrant life in urban environments and their cracks. Be it the cultural center, the construction site, a time between night and day, a place between the conscious and the subconscious, a state of mind between dream and reality, a state of matter between gas, liquid, plasma and solid, or the spaces between the you and the me, in the city.

Sisters Academy
Fiction Pimp Gry Worre Hallberg is working on redefining the educational system as one of the unheimliche twinsisters behind SISTERS HOPE. The premise is the radical idea that we live in a world where art is the dominant factor – A sensuous society – How would a school in this world manifest and how can this experiment inspire new modes of educational thinking?
Sisters Hope, who Sisters Hope operate in the intersection of art, research, activism and pedagogical strategies, are currently working on manifesting a grand poetic academy – Sisters Academy – A project where an entire school will be framed within a performance-universe for 14 days and it will inform and inspire all subject fields and the general mode of being and knowledge production while in play. Sisters Academy 0.1. will take place in October ‘13 in Odense, DK, but Sisters Hope are currently working on manifesting the academy in a greater Northern context and right now the plan is to manifest the second academy in Iceland by November 2013 with the collaborators: Myndlistaskolen and Iceland Academy of arts.

Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space 2011
One of the three fiction pimps, Madeleine Kate, represented Roskilde University at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space 2011. As a part of ‘Open Spatial Laboratory’ curated by Dorita Hannah, Madeleine Kate gave a short lecture on the work Fiction Pimps execute and The Poetic Revolution.
A beautiful building, lifts open to see the halls passing by, a drama, a desk, people pointing us in the right direction, screens with frozen images only to be lit alive by moving bodies, all childhood images of pain, out on the terasse, a view of cement broken by green, back in the hall, smell of butter, suspense, sense of anything can happen, popcorn, beautiful ceiling, beautiful lamps, raspberry water, a new hall is opened by shouting, an old hall for workers on that newspaper (building left empty since the paper closed down – im in love with this building), brown, dusty green, carpet, film starts, great big screen, images sharp and music takes you in, dozing off by my tired body, young man wandering in halls like these, enters room, a hotel room, a woman is in the bed and she’s masturbating (…) (Extract from M. Kate’s blog describing her meeting with the installation Krétakör)
